Day 1

Leave from hotel early to explore morning life in Northern Thailand. We will stop at the foot of the Chiang Mai Hill to witness the daily ritual of Buddhist monks leaving the temples and walking among the local people to accept alms offerings. You will experience how to make an alms offering to the monks also. Then we drive up on hill to visit Doi Suthep temple, the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai. They say you have not truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple! At the top of the temple you can view the pagoda, believed to enshrine the holy relics of the Lord Buddha, shining with real gold. A viewing platform also offers panoramic views of Chiang Mai City. We also will get blessing from the monk at this temple. After that we will take Tuk Tuk driving around the old Chiang Mai city and visit 2 famous temples and visit the biggest local market to in Chiang Mai Here we will local food or see the way of life of Chiang Mai people and have lunch at local restaurant ( authentic Thai and Chiang Mai food ) After lunch we will walk to the pier for taking a boat ( 2 hrs. approx. ) to see the view along Mae ping river before returning back to hotel.
