1 Day Trip

Leave from hotel early morning to Doi suthep mountain and on the way we will stop at the foot of the Chiang Mai Hill to witness the daily ritual of Buddhist monks leaving the temples and walking among the local people to accept alms offerings. You will experience how to make an alms offering to the monks also. Then we drive up on mountain to visit Doi Suthep temple, the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai. They say you have not truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple! At the temple you can see panoramic views of Chiang Mai City. After that we will visit Royal Winter Palace called Phu Ping Palace. It is the royal winter residence in Chiang Mai where the Royal family stays during seasonal visits to the people in the northern part of Thailand . Here you can enjoy the Nature- Architecture and royal gardens. Lunch at local restaurant. ( authentic Thai food ) After lunch we will visit Hmong hill tribe village to experience their culture and enjoy hill tribe shopping and garden where you can get close and take a photo with Opium plants and visit Wat Pha Lad small temple or hidden temple is one of the most beautiful temples in Chiang Mai and is constructed in Burmese architecture style and over 600 years old before returning back to hotel.
