1 Day Trip

Leave from hotel early to explore morning life in Northern Thailand. We stop at the foot of the Chiang Mai Hill to witness the daily ritual of Buddhist monks leaving the temples and walking among the local people to accept alms offerings. You will experience how to make an alms offering to the monks also. Then we drive up on hill to visit Wat Prathad Doi Suthep temple, the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai. They say you have not truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple! At temple you can view panoramic views of Chiang Mai City. After that we will move to visit local market. Here you will see local food and life style of local people and do bamboo rafting 50 mins. approx. along the Mae Wang river. Lunch at local restaurant ( Authentic Thai food ) After lunch we will visit hidden temple on the hill. ( At this temple you can see the mountain view ) before we have fun and a great experience with the elephant interaction ( No riding ) as feeding, walking on the trail with the elephant and bathing elephant in the stream and returning back to hotel.
