Day 1

Leave from hotel early to explore morning life in Northern Thailand. We stop at the foot of the Chiang Mai Hill to witness the daily ritual of Buddhist monks leaving the temples and walking among the local people to accept alms offerings. You will experience how to make an alms offering to the monks also. Then we drive up on hill to visit Doi Suthep temple, the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai. They say you have not truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple! At the temple you will see panoramic views of Chiang Mai City. Then we will visit local market. Here you will see local food and life style of the local people and do bamboo rafting down a river where Northern Thais enjoy swimming and set up restaurants along the river banks selling authentic local food and whiskey. Lunch at the local restaurant. ( authentic Thai food ) after lunch we will visit Hmong market. At the market you will see local products which produce from Hmong hill tribe ( This people were an original from China ) and the royal project which initiated by the majesty king Rama ninth before we gentle walk down hill 2 hrs. approx. to the white Karen hill tribe village and on the way you will enjoy different panoramic views of waterfalls, valley, paddy rice fields, mountains and try mountain coffee which they grow and harvest on the mountain. We also stay overnight at the Karen village to experiences their culture. We will cook and have dinner with the family. ( Accommodation is wooden house will be booked by Sawasdee Chiang mai tour )

Day 2

After breakfast we will drive up on the mountain to visit twins pagoda and summit of Thailand then visit Sirithan waterfall and Vachirathan waterfall. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. ( authentic Thai food ) after lunch we will explore the Pha Cho Canyon extremely deep gorge of the river which is one of the natural wonder of Chiang mai. And visit tranquil temple sites scattered around the underground city. Chiang Mai was originally built here in the 11th century but the ancient city was forgotten after being flooded and hidden underground for hundreds of years. There are over 20 ancient temple sites in the city before returning back to hotel. (Room must be booked by yourself in Chiang mai tonight)
