Leave from hotel early to explore morning life in Northern Thailand. We stop at the foot of the Chiang Mai Hill to witness the daily ritual of Buddhist monks leaving the temples and walking among the local people to accept alms offerings. You will experience how to make an alms offering to the monks also. Then we cycling 2 hrs. around the underground city. Chiang Mai was originally built here in the 11th century but the ancient city was forgotten after being flooded and hidden underground for hundreds of years. There are over 20 ancient temple sites in the city and taking a boat along Mae Ping river ( The main river in Chiang Mai ) before returning back to hotel.
