Leave from hotel early to explore morning life in Northern Thailand. We stop at the foot of the Chiang Mai Hill to witness the daily ritual of Buddhist monks leaving the temples and walking among the local people to accept alms offerings. You will experience how to make an alms offering to the monks also. Proceed to visit Doi Suthep temple, the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai. They say you have not truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple! At the top of the temple you can view the pagoda, believed to enshrine the holy relics of the Lord Buddha, shining with real gold. A viewing platform also offers panoramic views of Chiang Mai City. We also will get blessing from the monks. After that we will have Thai local breakfast before we move to see Wat Palard ( The hidden temple ) where meditation monks reside and practice their daily routines. This ancient temple is very peaceful and quiet, as well as surrounded by stunningly beautiful nature, the traditional Lanna architecture reflects the beauty of Northern Thai culture and Long neck Karen tribe village then return back to hotel.
